The Brief

The Nelson Business Networking (NBN) group were looking to increase their web presence and attract potential members through a new website. The copywriting brief included creating a clear value proposition by outlining the key benefits of the group and how it is different to other available options. This was partly to be achieved by opting for a slightly more casual tone of voice, while still conveying friendliness and professionalism

Our Solution

We used keyword and market research to dig deep into what businesses actually want from a networking group, and what we found was surprising. Although referral business is always welcome, it’s the support and camaraderie that appeal most to would-be networkers, both of which NBN happens to be big on.
